We believe in the importance of the regular giving of tithes and offerings to the Lord at the local level BY CHURCH MEMBERS as described in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 and Malachi 3:8-12.  As we typically do not "pass a plate" for this kind of giving, there is a box located at the back of the church for regular giving.  For your convenience, on-line giving is available as well.  These funds help support the general operating budget of the church. 

A building fund offering is received once each month to help off-set our mortgage payment, but donations toward this fund are accepted and appreciated at any time.  Please pray as to how the Lord would have you give toward the building fund. 

The alms fund is used specifically when there is a personal need to be met within the church body or in our community.  The church provides financial assistance on an as-needed basis (upon request to the pastor or one of the elders) to families or individuals with immediate personal needs such as groceries, auto gas, home fuel oil, diapers and/or clothing for children, and in other similar situations.  Requests for assistance are handled confidentially, and repayment of the assistance is not required or expected.
